| American Celebration: Bernstein & Barber Friday, Nov. 7 at 8:00 p.m. & Sunday, Nov. 9, at 2:30 p.m., 2008 Soreng Theater, Hult Center The Eugene Concert Choir honors our veterans with Samuel Barber’s moving choral-orchestral Adagio for Strings/Agnus Dei and celebrates great American works, featuring Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms. The repertoire for this program will be taken on tour in August 2009 and performed at the Dvorak Festival in Prague. |

A rockin’ band and guest performers will kick it into high-energy enjoyment. |
Mendelssohn’s First Walpurgis Night Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 8 p.m. Silva Concert Hall, Hult Center A fantastical performance of Mendelssohn’s wild Witches Dance featuring the Eugene Ballet Company with original choreography by Toni Pimble. The Eugene Concert Choir, Eugene Ballet Company, members of the Oregon Mozart Players, and five professional soloists collaborate on this world premiere event. |
