“Singing a Masterwork”

As part of our commitment to Educational Outreach and community involvement, this season will welcome another installment of our hugely successful “Singing A Masterwork” project. Six hundred elementary and middle students will be taught a choral part in their choirs and classrooms with the materials, guidance and mentorship of members of the Eugene Concert Choir. For the culmination of this preparation, the children will join choir and orchestra on stage in Silva Concert Hall for a performance of the “Lacrymosa” movement of the Berlioz Requiem.
