Peter and Evynne Hollens, On the Rocks & Divisi
Peter Hollens was featured on NBC’s hit series The Sing Off leading the UO’s award winning a cappella group On the Rocks. Evynne co-founded the UO’s premier a cappella ensemble Divisi. Peter and Evynne will warm us up with “Baby it’s Cold Outside” and the contemporary pop sounds of On the Rocks and Divisi join them for “Seasons of Love.”
Laurel James, soprano & Brennen Guillory, tenor
Highlights from Handel’s Messiah will feature the crystalline soprano voice of Laurel James and the dynamic lyrical tenor, Brennen Guillory. The audience is invited to join us on stage to sing the “Hallelujah Chorus.”
Gospel singer Darline Jackson will bring down the house with “Go Tell it on the Mountain!”
The Lords & Ladies of the Eugene Vocal Arts Ensemble, in their stunning Elizabethan dress bring holiday carols and revelry, and the Eugene Youth Ballet enlivens the spirited carol “Estampie Natalis.”
Other classics include highlights from the Bach Christmas Cantata, O Holy Night, and John Lennon’s ballad, Happy Christmas (War is Over).
Join us for pre-concert festivities and a carol sing-along in the lobby starting an hour before performance time!
