Latin Beat for Kids

Exciting and rhythmic Latin American music and dance is specially selected to involve kids in this lively, one-hour interactive show. The Jessie Marquez Ensemble will kick it into up-tempo joy as we ask the kids to sing and play along with their own hand-made percussion instruments. The kids will be dancing in the aisles – and we encourage that!

Erik Linder and Rickie Taylor are both eleven years old and they are already four-time National Ballroom Champions. They have also appeared on Dancing with the Stars, America’s Got Talent, and Oprah Winfrey’s World’s Most Talented Kids!

Fun pre-concert activities in the Hult Center lobby include arts and crafts to make hand-made percussion instruments, clown balloon twisters and coloring projects. Entries from the coloring sheets are chosen during the show in a drawing for prizes! Learn and enjoy at a program designed to engage the whole family.
