Classical Christmas greatest hits! Experience the joy of the season with the full-voiced Eugene Concert Choir and festive orchestra performing the rousing opening to Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. Soprano Emilie Faiella, who captivated our audience in our Mozart Vespers last spring, and "radiant" contralto Laura Beckel Thoreson will relate the story from the Christmas portion of Handel’s well-loved Messiah.
You can join us in singing the “Hallelujah Chorus”!
Eugene Vocal Arts will draw us in for warm, close-harmony jazz arrangements of White Christmas and Christmastime is Here and a vocal romp through the Nutcracker March and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
From traditional carols Joy to the World and Hark the Herald Angels Sing to the nostalgic Auld Lang Syne, we will usher in the celebration of the holiday season for the whole family.
