A Merry Olde English Christmas

As we stand poised to embrace the arrival of a new year, we joyfully invite you on a nostalgic jaunt through time to Merry Olde England where we celebrate Christmases of Yore.

We begin in the English Renaissance where the "Lords and Ladies" of Eugene Vocal Arts, adorned in elaborate Elizabethan dress, perform madrigals, motets, and courtly dances, reenacting the pageantry of a Yuletide Boar’s Head Feast.

Next we visit the 1800s, where the resounding voices of the 100-member Eugene Concert Choir, in charming Victorian attire, fill the hall with merriment.

When Father Christmas and the mummers and acrobats break in on the festivities, all manner of antics ensue! Come, join us in the jubilant singing of cherished carols, and revel in the warmth and kinship of Christmas cheer through the ages.
