Ethereal, expansive, and visually stunning, this concert evokes the mystery and majesty of the cosmos through music and imagery. Join Eugene Vocal Arts for celestial choral repertoire inspired by the sun, stars, moon, and beyond—including Ligeti’s “Lux Aeterna” (2001: A Space Odyssey) paired with mesmerizing projected imagery in this immersive experience of cosmic grandeur and wonder!
Our newest ensemble under the Eugene Concert Choir umbrella, the extraordinary young adult a cappella chamber choir Evocantus, tunes their voices to the sound of the universe, and then joins Eugene Vocal Arts in Elaine Hagenberg’s dynamic “Measure Me, Sky!”
Kicking it up with the Vicki Brabham combo, Eugene Vocal Arts soars into a popular vibe with Hoagy Carmichael’s “Stardust” and a medley of moon songs, and by the end they are “Defying Gravity”!
